1.0.2 This code is applicable to constructed, extended or renovated engineering of bicable circulating material ropeway, monocable circulating material ropeway, bicable reversible aerial ropeway for passenger and monocable circulating passenger ropeway.
1.0.3 The transport scheme of passenger and material ropeway shall be reasonably determined through comprehensive technical economical comparison according to construction conditions and technical conditions.
1.0.4 The ropeway design, equipment development and equipment exfactory shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Advanced technology, economy and rationality as well as safety and reliability.
2 The new equipment related to personal safety must be certified with safety and reliability through test or production practice and qualified identification, after that, it may be adopted in engineering.
3 The strict inspection shall be carried out during ropeway equipment exfactory, the technical files shall be established and the quality certificate shall be issued.
1.0.5 The passenger ropeway constructed in scenic spot shall take the principle of landscape protection and tourism convenience. The ropeway station site and line selection shall meet the requirements of overall planning or regional planning of scenic spot.
1.0.6 The ropeway construction shall strengthen environmental protection awareness, formulate environmental protection measures and protect natural environment.
1.0.7 The ropeway engineering may be formally put into running or operation after final acceptance.
1.0.8 In addition to implement this code, the design, construction and acceptance of ropeway engineering shall meet the requirements of the current relevant national standards and codes.
2 Terms and Symbols
2.1.1 Aerial ropeway
It refers to a kind of transport system erecting steel wire rope on supporting structure as rail to transport material or personnel.
2.1.2 Monocable circulating material ropeway
It refers to the ropeway used for material transport only equipped with carrying-hauling rope and with circulating operation of bucket on line.
2.1.3 Bicable circulating material ropeway
It refers to the ropeway used for material transport equipped with carrying rope and hauling rope and with circulating operation of bucket on line.
2.1.4 Monocable circulating passenger ropeway
It refers to the ropeway used for personnel transport only equipped with carrying-hauling rope and with circulating operation of carrier on line. Thereinto, it is divided into monocable circulating detachable grip carriage (basket, glider) passenger ropeway and monocable circulating fixed grip carriage (basket, glider and hauling) passenger ropeway owing to different carrier forms.
In addition, it is also divided into monocable circulating fixed grip carriage passenger ropeway, monocable pulse circulating fixed grip vehicle unit passenger ropeway and monocable intermittent circulating fixed grip vehicle unit passenger ropeway owing to different operating modes.
2.1.5 Bicable reversible aerial ropeway for passenger
It refers to the ropeway used for personnel transport equipped with carrying rope and hauling rope and with reversible operation of carrier on line. Thereinto, it is divided into bicable reversible carriage passenger ropeway and bicable reversible vehicle unit passenger ropeway owing to different carrier grouping.
It refers to the delivery vehicle for material transport. It mainly include grip or running trolley, hanger rod or hanger and cargo box.
It refers to the delivery vehicle for personnel transport. It mainly include grip or running trolley, hanger rod or hanger, carrier carriage or other riding tools. The carrier may be divided into such different forms as carriage, basket, glider and hauling seat.
2.1.8 Grip, fixed grip, detachable grip
The device connecting with carrying-hauling rope or in carrier or bucket is referred to as grip.
The grip without disconnection and hitching from steel wire rope when entering into station or departing from station is referred to as fixed grip.
The grip with disconnection and hitching from steel wire rope when entering into station or departing from station is referred to as detachable grip.
2.1.9 Line profile
It refers to the longitudinal profile of ropeway line indicating topographic feature, station room and support configuration.
2.1.10 Transport capacity
It refers to the transport volume of single direction in unit time.
2.1.11 Vertical rise, horizontal length, inclined length
The difference of rope bottom elevation between two stations or between two points of line support is referred to as vertical rise.
The horizontal distance between two points is referred to as horizontal length.
The linear distance between two points is referred to as inclined length.
2.1.12 Gauge, span, pitch, interval
The distance between center lines of carrying-hauling ropes or carrying ropes at both sides of support is referred to as gauge. For bicable ropeway adopting double carrying rope, the gauge is the distance between center lines of double carrying ropes at both side of support.
