1 General
1.0.1 This code is drawn up for the purpose of proper design of fixed fire monitor extinguishing system, minimizing losses of fire disaster, safeguard of personal safety and property safety.
1.0.2 This code applies to the design of fixed fire monitor extinguishing system established in newly-built project, renovation and expansion project.
1.0.3 The design of fixed fire monitor extinguishing system must comply relevant national policies and regulations, be closely related to the function and fire characteristics of the protected object, and the system shall be so designed that it can be safe, reliable, technically advanced, economically reasonable and convenient for operation.
1.0.4 When the nature of the project equipped with fixed fire monitor extinguishing system has been changed, the applicability of the original system shall be checked. If it is no longer applicable, it shall be redesigned.
1.0.5 Besides complying with this Code, the design of fixed fire monitor extinguishing system shall also be in compliance with relevant current state compulsory standards and codes.
