This Standard specifies a method for the determination of dissolved oxygen in water for industrial circulating cooling system, boiler water and coagulated water. The iodometric method in this Standard is applicable to the determination of dissolved oxygen in water for industrial circulating cooling system which having dissolved oxygen concentrations greater than 0.2 mg/L, up to 8 mg/L (the content of oxygen). The internal electrolysis method in this Standard is applicable to the determination of dissolved oxygen in boiler water and coagulated water which having dissolved oxygen concentrations greater than 2 μg/L, up to 100 μg/L (the content of oxygen).
