本标准规定了下列管道用的硫化橡胶密封圈材料的要求：
ａ）冷饮用水（50℃以下）供应管；
ｂ）排水管、污水管及雨水管（对连续流动水，工作温度在45℃ 以下；对间歇流动水，工作温度可达95℃）。本标准适用于包括铸铁管、钢管、陶瓷管、石棉水泥管、水泥管、钢筋水泥管、塑料管及玻璃纤维增强塑料管等所有管道接口密封圈。本标准适用于复合的或非复合的橡胶密封圈的弹性体部分。本标准修改采用国际标准ＩＳＯ４６３３：２００２《橡胶密封件　给、排水管道接口密封圈　材料规范》（英
文版）。本标准根据ＩＳＯ４６３３：２００２重新起草。
