本标准规定了有关阻波器的定义、要求、试验方法及额定值。本标准适用于串接于高压交流输电线中的阻波器。该设备用以防止频率一般在40kHz～500kHz范围内的载波信号在电力系统各种条件下发生过度损耗，并使得来自邻近电力线载波系统的干扰降到最校本标准不适用于为其他目的连接在高压输电线上的电感器以及用于交直流换流站的阻波器。交直流换流站阻波器所在电力系统条件未在本标准中规定，有关资料见附录B(提示的附录)。
