Gypsum plasterboard
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and labeling, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gypsum plasterboard.
This document is applicable to the gypsum plasterboards used as non-load-bearing indoor wall and ceiling in buildings, and also to those used as substrate of secondary processing products.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 9776 and the following apply.

4 Classification and labeling
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Product category and code
By functions: normal gypsum plasterboard (P), water-resistant gypsum plasterboard (S), moisture-resistant gypsum plasterboard (T), fire-resistant gypsum plasterboard (T), water-resistant and fire-resistant gypsum plasterboard (SH), water-resistant and fire-resistant gypsum plasterboard (TH).
4.1.2 Edge shape and code
By edge shape: rectangular (J), chamfer (D), wedge (C) and round (Y) (see Figure 1~ Figure 4), and products with other edge shapes can also be produced according to user requirements.

4.1.3 Specification and dimension
4.1.3.1 The nominal length is 1500 mm, 1800 mm, 2100 mm, 2400 mm, 2440 mm, 2700 mm, 3000 mm, 3300 mm, 3600 mm and 3660 mm.
4.1.3.2 The nominal width is 600 mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm and 1220 mm.
4.1.3.3 The nominal thickness is 9.5 mm, 12.0 mm, 15.0 mm, 18.0 mm, 21.0 mm and 25.0 mm.
4.2 Labeling
Products shall be labeled according to product name, type code, edge shape code, length, width, thickness and the number of this standard..
Example 1: a water-resistant and fire-resistant gypsum plasterboard with a length of 3000 mm, a width of 1200 mm and a thickness of 12.0 mm and a wedge-shaped edge, shall be labeled as: gypsum plasterboard SHC 3000× 1200× 12.0 GB/T 9775-2025.
Example 2: a normal gypsum plasterboard with a length of 3000 mm, a width of 1200 mm and a thickness of 12.0 mm and a wedge-shaped edge, shall be labeled as: gypsum plasterboard PC 3000× 1200× 12.0 GB/T 9775-2025.
5 Raw materials
5.1 Calcined gypsum shall meet the requirements of GB/T 9776.
5.2 Protective paper shall meet the requirements of GB/T 26204.
