Urea containing alginic acid
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging, transport and storage of the urea containing alginic acid.
This standard is applicable to urea containing alginic acid prepared by adding alginic acid synergistic liquid extracted from seaweed as the main raw material during the urea production process, and then granulating by using a urea granulation technology.

a polysaccharide that is formed by a linear polymerization of monouronic acid, which is a block copolymer formed by 1,4 glycosidic bonds using monomers of β-1,4-D-mannuronic acid and α-1,4-L-guluronic acid
3.2
urea containing alginic acid
alginic acid synergistic liquid produced by using seaweed as the main raw material is added to the urea production process, a urea granulation technology is used to prepare the urea products. Compared with conventional urea, the urea containing alginic acid has an effect on reducing the ammonia volatilization loss
3.3
ammonia volatilization inhibition rate
a functional indicator that characterizes the degree of ammonia volatilization inhibition by urea containing alginic acid. Under the reaction of urease and magnesium oxide, urea is decomposed, and the released ammonia is absorbed by a boric acid solution. A ratio of a difference value between volumes of the urea containing alginic acid and a urea consuming sulfuric acid standard volumetric solution to the latter, is expressed as a percentage
4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance Requirements
The products are granular and free of mechanical impurities.
4.1 Technical Indicators
The urea containing alginic acid shall meet the requirements in Table 1
