Specifications for construction of aerodrome cement concrete pavement 1 General provisions 1.0.1 The specifications is developed in order to meet the needs of civil airport construction in China, clarify the technical requirements for cement concrete pavement slab construction and ensure its construction quality. 1.0.2 The specifications is applicable to the construction of cement concrete pavement slab of the airfield area pavement and road surface (including runway, taxiway, apron, shoulder, runway blast pad, airfield perimeter road and ground service road) of constructed, renovated and extended civil airports (including the civil part of joint-used airport by military and civil units). It is applicable to the construction of cement concrete pavement slab for airport, and in case of special requirements, it shall be implemented according to the design documents. 1.0.3 For the construction of cement concrete pavement slab, a perfect quality assurance system shall be established, and corresponding technical measures shall be taken according to the requirements of the design documents and based on the hydrogeological, engineering geological, meteorological and construction conditions to ensure the engineering quality. 1.0.4 For the construction of cement concrete pavement slab, a safe production and environmental protection management system shall be established to ensure the construction safety and reduce environmental pollution. In the construction process, attention shall be paid to saving land, reducing energy and material consumption, and protecting the environment. 1.0.5 For the construction of cement concrete pavement slab, new technologies, new materials, new equipment and new processes shall be adopted. 1.0.6 The construction of cement concrete pavement slab shall meet those specified both in the specifications and in the current relevant rules and standards of the nation and the profession. 2 Terms 2.0.1 cement concrete pavement structure composed of cement concrete pavement slab, base and cushion (sometimes not set) 2.0.2 cement concrete pavement slab structure layer directly bearing the load which is formed by pouring cement concrete and set on the base 2.0.3 reinforced concrete pavement cement concrete structure layer with longitudinal and transverse steel bars arranged in the concrete pavement in order to prevent the crack from expanding 2.0.4 cement concrete pavement overlay cement concrete pavement slab additionally paved on the cement concrete pavement in order to improve the bearing capacity of the original cement concrete pavement or improve the surface performance 2.0.5 paving with vibrator and triple-roller-tube construction process of paving cement concrete pavement slab by using fixed formwork, vibrator and triple-roller-tube leveller 2.0.6 construction without air service suspension engineering construction carried out in the airport under the condition that the airport is not closed or is partially closed to receive and release aircrafts according to the flight plan 2.0.7 airfield area site used for take-off, landing, taxiing and parking of aircraft, include runway, runway strip, runway end safety area, taxiway, apron and others 2.0.8 runway specific rectangular site in a land aerodrome for the take-off and landing of aircrafts 2.0.9 taxiway specified passage arranged at the land aerodrome for aircraft taxiing and connecting one part of the aerodrome with other parts 2.0.10 apron specific site in an aerodrome for passengers boarding and alighting, cargo or mail loading and unloading, refueling, parking or maintenance 2.0.11 shoulder conditioned site connected with the runway, taxiway and apron pavement, which is used for the transition between the pavement and the adjacent unpaved area 2.0.12 runway blast pad site adjacent to the end of a runway to reduce erosion of the ground by jet wake or propeller washing 2.0.13 airfield perimeter road roads in the airfield area for patrol vehicles 2.0.14 ground service road roads in the airfield area for ground service vehicles 2.0.15 average surface texture depth average depth of grooves and textures made on the surface of the pavement by roughening, grooving and other processes
