1 Scope
This standard specifies the basis, principle, content and requirements for the preparation of technical specification for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.
This standard is applicable to the preparation of technical specification for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant, which may be used for reference during the preparation of technical specification for nuclear power plants of other reactor types.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
acceptable level of safety
a set of specific states of nuclear power plants sufficient to ensure public health and safety established on an item-by-item study basis, considering the probability and consequences of harmful events, including the expected response of nuclear power plants to these events
3.2
initial fallback time
total time allowed from the time when deviations from the normal operating limits and conditions are found to the time when fallback starts
3.3
completion time
total time allowed from the time when deviations from the normal operating limits and conditions are found to the completion of remedial actions
