1 Scope
This standard specifies the types, dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, marking, inspection and packaging, transportation and storage of air conditioning hoses and hose assemblies for transporting liquid or gaseous HFC-134a refrigerant for vehicle air conditioning system.
This standard is applicable to rubber or thermoplastic hoses and hose assemblies for transporting liquid or gaseous HFC-134a refrigerant for vehicle air conditioning system. The design of the hose shall minimize the permeation of HFC-134a and environmental pollution, and may be used within the temperature range of -40~+125℃.
