This standard specifies the specimen, test conditions and data processing for the determination of glass transition temperature of composite solid propellant.
This standard is applicable to the determination of glass transition temperature of composite solid propellant, as well as the determination of glass transition temperature of inside liner and thermal insulation of motor.

3 Specimen
3.1 The fabrication, sampling, quality requirements and storage of specimen shall comply with QJ 1113.
3.2 Specimen specifications: for wafer specimen, the diameter is 5±0.5mm and the thickness is 2±0.2mm; for square specimen, the side length is 5±0.5mm and the thickness is 2±0.2mm; the non-parallelism between upper and lower ends is not greater than 0.2mm.
3.3 The processed specimen is placed in a desiccator without desiccant for 24h before use.
4 Instruments and equipment
4.1 RJY-80 thermal mechanical analyzer or other thermal mechanical analyzer with similar performance is adopted. Instruments shall be verified periodically according to requirements.
4.2 The main performance of thermal mechanical analyzer shall meet the following requirements:
4.2.1 Temperature range: -120~500℃.
4.2.2 Deformation measurement range: full scale 20μm, 40μm, 100μm, 200μm, 400μm, 1,000μm.
