本标准规定了用体积法测定微晶蜡含油量的方法。
本标准适用于测定冻凝点在30℃以上，含油量不大于15%（m/m）的微晶蜡、混晶蜡，也适用于石蜡，不适用于某些含油量大于5%（m/m）、在丁酮中不能完全溶解而分层的蜡。
