——Unify requirements for the chromaticity performance of luminaires which take fluorescent lamp or LED as light source; as for LED table lamps, the correlated color temperature is changed from "shall not be higher than 4,000 K" to "should not exceed 4,000 K"; the requirements on color-rendering index for nominally high color-rendering table lamps are increased;
——"stroboflash" is changed to "scintillation" which shall meet the limit requirements of low risk grade in IEEE Std 1789-2015, and as for nominally imperceptible grade, it shall meet the limit requirements of imperceptible grade in IEEE Std 1789-2015;
——The appearance requirements are increased;
——Mark: prompts are required for LED table lamps with the color temperature possibly exceeding 4,000K; as for table lamps with adjustable position, the position or adjustment range suitable for visual task shall be given; as for table lamps with adjustable light and/or color, the explanation of adjustment method and the range suitable for visual task are required.
——Test method: the test methods are collected in Part 6.

Performance Certification Criteria for Table Lamps for Visual Task
1 Scope
This criteria specifies the performance requirements of table lamps for visual task with tungsten lamp, fluorescent lamp or LED as light source for which the power supply voltage is not exceeding 250V (hereinafter referred to as "table lamps").
This criteria is applicable to table lamps for paper lighting in families and similar places and those providing lighting for VDT visual task, including those declaring "eye-care".

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 2900.65, GB 7000.204 and GB/T 9473 and those listed below apply.
3.1
table lamp for visual task
the table lamp which provides lighting for visual task of paper or visual display terminal (VDT)
3.2
modulation depth
the ratio of the difference between maximum and minimum of light output in a period to the sum of those, %
Note: the corresponding English of this term in GB/T 2900.65 is "amplitude of fluctuation", and "modulation depth" is from IEEE 1789, so the corresponding definitions of them are identical.
4 Classification
According to the usage type, table lamps for visual task are classified into table lamps for paper visual task and table lamps for VDT visual task.
5 Technical Requirements
Table lamps shall meet the security requirements of GB 7000.204, and the light sources and control devices used shall meet related safety and performance requirements.
5.1 Retina blue light hazard
Table lamps which use LED as light source shall be hazard-free class (RG0) when assessed according to IEC/TR 62778.
5.2 Electromagnetic radiation for human body
It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 31275.
5.3 Photometric requirements
5.3.1 Tabletop illuminance and uniformity of illuminance
Tabletop illuminance and uniformity of illuminance shall meet the requirements of Grade A in Article 5.8.2, GB/T 9473-2008. If it is indicated with Grade AA, the requirements of Grade AA in Article 5.8.2, GB/T 9473 shall apply.
5.3.2 Opacity
It shall meet the requirements of Article 5.8.1, GB/T 9473-2008.
