Codeofchina.com is in charge of this English translation. In case of any doubt about the English translation, the Chinese original shall be considered authoritative. This criteria is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This criteria replaces CQC 1601-2013 Certification Criteria for Table Lamps for Visual Task, and the following revisions have been made with respect to CQC 1601-2013 (the previous edition): ——Scope: the applicable places for light sources and table lamps applicable to the criteria are given; ——Normative References: update according to the latest formulation and revision of relevant national and IEC standards; ——The title is revised as "Criteria"; ——Retina blue light hazard: the limit for retina blue light hazard of LED table lamps is increased from category RG1 to RG0; ——Electromagnetic radiation for human body: the reference standard is change from IEC standard to equivalent national standard; ——The requirements for luminous flux of table lamps for VDT visual task are deleted; ——The photometric requirements for lamps with adjustable light and/or color are increased; ——The photometric requirements for table lamps with adjustable position are increased; ——Unify requirements for the chromaticity performance of luminaires which take fluorescent lamp or LED as light source; as for LED table lamps, the correlated color temperature is changed from "shall not be higher than 4,000 K" to "should not exceed 4,000 K"; the requirements on color-rendering index for nominally high color-rendering table lamps are increased; ——"stroboflash" is changed to "scintillation" which shall meet the limit requirements of low risk grade in IEEE Std 1789-2015, and as for nominally imperceptible grade, it shall meet the limit requirements of imperceptible grade in IEEE Std 1789-2015; ——The appearance requirements are increased; ——Mark: prompts are required for LED table lamps with the color temperature possibly exceeding 4,000K; as for table lamps with adjustable position, the position or adjustment range suitable for visual task shall be given; as for table lamps with adjustable light and/or color, the explanation of adjustment method and the range suitable for visual task are required. ——Test method: the test methods are collected in Part 6. This criteria was proposed and is under the jurisdiction of China Quality Certification Center (CQC). This criteria was issued in 2013 for the first time and is revised for the first time (this edition). Performance Certification Criteria for Table Lamps for Visual Task 1 Scope This criteria specifies the performance requirements of table lamps for visual task with tungsten lamp, fluorescent lamp or LED as light source for which the power supply voltage is not exceeding 250V (hereinafter referred to as "table lamps"). This criteria is applicable to table lamps for paper lighting in families and similar places and those providing lighting for VDT visual task, including those declaring "eye-care". 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
