This standard specifies the technical requirements on the investigation of geotechnical engineering for fossil fuel power plants.
This standard is applicable to the geotechnical engineering investigations of site and buildings (structure) in new, extended and rebuilt fossil fuel power plant ( hereafter referred to as power plant) equipped with turbogenerator units which the capacity is 125MW ~ 1000MW. The geotechnical engineering investigation for power plants with the plant units of other kinds may reference to this standard.
