1 Subject content and application scope
This standard is applicable to the determination of 8 benzene series, i.e., benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-xylene, m-xylene, o-xylene, cumene and styrene in handicraft wastewater and surface water.
In this method, 3% organic bentonite / 101 supporter + 2.5% dinonyl phthalate / 101 supporter and tandem chromatographic column with a mixed weight ratio of 35:65 can be used to simultaneously detect the above 8 benzene series in the sample. The detected minimum concentration is 0.005 mg/L and the determination range is 0.005~0.1 mg/L by headspace gas chromatography; the detected minimum concentration is 0.05 mg/L and the determination range is 0.05~12 mg/L by gas chromatography for extraction with carbon disulfide.
2 Reagents and materials
2.1 Carrier gas and auxiliary gas
2.1.1 Carrier gas: nitrogen with a purity of 99.9% is purified by a purification pipe equipped with 5A molecular sieve, activated carbon and silica gel.
2.1.2 Fuel gas: hydrogen, the same purification method as nitrogen.
2.1.3 Oxidant gas: air, the same purification method as nitrogen.
