This standard specifies the minimum allowable values, evaluating values of energy saving, determination methods of energy efficiency grades, test methods and inspection rules of room air conditioner (hereinafter referred to as air conditioner).
This standard is applicable to the air conditioners of 14 000 W or below which are adopted with air-cooled condenser, fully enclosed motor- compressor and T1 climatic type.
This standard is not applicable to the movable, rotation speed controllable type and VRF air conditioning system.
