1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, materials and structural requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, installation, packaging, transportation and storage of domestic gas instantaneous water heater.
The standard is applicable to domestic gas instantaneous water heater for hot water (hereinafter referred to as “water heater for hot water”) with rated heat input no greater than 70kW; indoor forced gas supply and exhaust water heater, outdoor domestic gas instantaneous water heater for heating (hereinafter referred to as “water heater for heating”) with rated heat input no greater than 70kW, with maximum heating working water pressure no greater than 0.3 MPa, heating water temperature no greater than 95℃, and domestic gas instantaneous water heater for heating and hot water (hereinafter referred to as “water heater for heating and hot water”), including the special requirements of condensing water heater for hot water, water heater for heating and water heater for heating and hot water.
The standard is not applicable to gas volume water heater.

1 The gas in this standard refers to the gas specified in GB/T 13611 Classification and basic characteristics of city gas and GB 13612 Manufactured gas; where gas except those specified in GB/T 13611 is used, the gas for test is conducted in accordance with the gas provided in product design and the pressure scope refers to those specified in GB/T 13611.
2 Domestic gas instantaneous water heater for hot water, domestic gas instantaneous water heater for heating, and domestic gas instantaneous water heater for heating and hot water are collectively referred to as the domestic gas instantaneous water heater (hereinafter referred to as “water heater”).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, materials and structural requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, installation, packaging, transportation and storage of domestic gas instantaneous water heater.
The standard is applicable to domestic gas instantaneous water heater for hot water (hereinafter referred to as “water heater for hot water”) with rated heat input no greater than 70kW; indoor forced gas supply and exhaust water heater, outdoor domestic gas instantaneous water heater for heating (hereinafter referred to as “water heater for heating”) with rated heat input no greater than 70kW, with maximum heating working water pressure no greater than 0.3 MPa, heating water temperature no greater than 95℃, and domestic gas instantaneous water heater for heating and hot water (hereinafter referred to as “water heater for heating and hot water”), including the special requirements of condensing water heater for hot water, water heater for heating and water heater for heating and hot water.
