本方法适用于大气中氮氧化物的测定,检出限为0.05W9/5mL,可测定大气中氮氧化物浓度范围为:0.01一20 mg/ m3。大气中二氧化硫浓度为氮氧化物浓度的10倍时,对氮氧化物的测定无干扰,30倍时,使颜色有少许减褪,但在环境大气中,较少遇到这种情况。臭氧浓度为氮氧化物浓度5倍时,对氮氧化物的测定略有干扰,在采样后3h,使试液呈现微红色。过氧乙酞硝酸醋(PAN)使试剂显色而干扰,在一般环境大气中PAN浓度甚低,不会导致显著误差。
