1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, marking and packaging of agricultural tyres.
This standard is applicable to new pneumatic tyres (including covers and flaps) for agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery.

4 Requirements
4.1 The size designation, inflation pressure and load capacity for tyres should meet the requirements in GB/T 2979.
4.2 The physical and mechanical properties of tyres shall meet those specified in Table 1.

4.3 The appearance quality of tyres shall meet the requirements of HG/T 2177.
4.4 After endurance test of tyre, in appearance inspection, the tyre shall be free of defects such as (tread, sidewall, ply, inner liner, breaker and bead) separation, ply cracking, cords separation, cords break, chunking, open splice, chap and carcass abnormal deformation.
5 Test method
5.1 The overall diameter and section width of the tyre after inflation shall be measured according to GB/T 521.
5.2 Tensile strength and elongation at break of tread compound of cover shall be sampled according to GB/T 519 and tested with Type 2 cutter according to GB/T 528.
5.3 The hardness of tread compound of cover shall be determined according to GB/T 531.
5.4 The wear amount of tread compound of cover shall be sampled according to GB/T 519 and tested according to GB/T 1689.
5.5 The adhesion strength of each part of the cover shall be sampled according to GB/T 519 and tested according to GB/T 532.
5.6 Tyres may be tested for traction performance according to GB/T 14828.
5.7 Tyres may be tested for wear resistance according to HG/T 2444.
5.8 The endurance test of agricultural radial tyre shall be carried out according to GB/T 34823.
