Textiles - Burning behavior - 45° test determination of damaged area and ignition times
1 Scope
This standard specifies two methods for determining the burning behavior of textiles at 45° using surface ignition and bottom edge ignition.
The method A of this standard is applicable to all kinds of fabrics and their products (see Annex A for the determination of thick textiles that cannot be ignited by Method A); Method B is applicable to yarns and fabrics that can be melted by heat.
