1 Scope
This standard specifies test methods for acceleration ability, maximum speed and hill climbing ability, etc. of the battery electric vehicles.
This standard is applicable to the battery electric vehicles.

For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

complete electric vehicle kerb mass
mass of the vehicle including the vehicle-mounted energy storage device [see Sub-clause 3.1.3.4.1, GB/T 19596-2004]
3.2
test mass of electric vehicle
sum of the complete electric vehicle kerb mass plus by additional masses required for one test [see Sub-clause 3.1.3.4.2, GB/T 19596-2004]
