This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 22842-2009 Lining Fabrics; the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 22842-2009 (the previous edition):
——The fixed load of slippage is adjusted (see Table 1 in 4.5.1; Table 1 in 4.5.1, Edition 2009);
——The index value of tear strength of cuprammonjum fiber lining fabrics is adjusted (see Table 2 in 4.5.2; Table 2 in 4.5.2, Edition 2009);
——The index values of tear strength of polyester fiber/ viscose fiber and polyester fiber/ cuprammonjum fiber lining fabrics are adjusted (see Table 3 in 4.5.3; Table 3 in 4.5.3, Edition 2009);
——As for dyeing standard of dye, it is changed to be darker than 1/12 of the standard darkness in GB/T 4841.3 for dark color and lighter than or equal to such value for light color (see Table 1 in 4.5.1, Table 2 in 4.5.2 and Table 3 in 4.5.3; Table 1 in 4.5.1, Table 2 in 4.5.2 and Table 3 in 4.5.3 of Edition 2009).
This standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of SAC/TC 401 National Technical Committee on Silk Standardization Administration of China.
The previous edition of this standard is as follows:
——GB/T 22842-2009.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
lining fabrics
fabrics at the most inner layer of garments, which are generally woven by filament yarn of polyester fiber, polyamide fiber, cellulose acetate fiber, viscose fiber or cuprammonjum fiber or any combination of them
3.2
standard area
the area of textile full width × 50 cm, which is a basic unit for assessment of appearance defects of lining fabrics
4 Requirements
4.1 Contents of requirements
The requirements of lining fabrics include those on inherent quality, appearance quality and basic safety performance.
4.2 Examination items
As for the lining fabrics, the examination items of inherent quality are density deviation rate, mass deviation rate, breaking strength, tear strength, fiber content tolerance, slippage, dimensional change rate and color fastness; and those of appearance quality are color difference (compared with standard sample), width deviation rate, skewness and bow as well as appearance defects.
4.3 Grading
4.3.1 Grade of lining fabrics is assessed based on the item with the lowest grade in inherent quality and appearance quality and divided into high-grade products, first-grade products and second-grade products; the product inferior to second-grade products are off-grade products.
4.3.2 Such inherent quality items as mass deviation rate, breaking strength, tear strength, fiber content tolerance, slippage, dimensional change rate, color fastness, etc. are graded by batches, and density deviation rate and appearance quality are graded by pieces.
4.4 Basic safety performance
Basic safety performance of lining fabrics shall comply with those specified in GB 18401.
4.5 Grading requirements of inherent quality
