Switch machines for railways - Part 2: Test methods
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 25338 specifies the terms, test conditions and general test methods for electric switch machine, electro-hydraulic switch machine and electro-pneumatic switch machine (hereinafter referred to as "switch machine").
This part applies to the tests of electric switch machine, electro-hydraulic switch machine and electro-pneumatic switch machine.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
electrical character
operating current and switching time of the switch machine under the rated throwing force, rated voltage or power supply voltage (AC) and the single-line resistance specified; switching time of the electro-pneumatic switch machine under the rated throwing force, rated wind pressure and control voltage.
3.2
control voltage
voltage across the solenoid valve coil of the electro-pneumatic switch machine
3.3
rated wind pressure
calibrated design wind pressure value of the electro-pneumatic switch machine when in normal operation
3.4
single-line resistance
resistance of a single line on the transmission path from the power supply to the motor end of the switch machine
4 Test conditions
4.1 Standard atmospheric conditions for tests
The tests specified in this part (unless otherwise specified) are carried out under standard test atmospheric conditions as follows:
