Introduction of GB/T 2660-2008

1 Scope This standard specifies the requirements, inspection (testing) method, inspection classification rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage and other technical features for the shirts and blouses. This standard is applicable to the shirts and blouses with textile woven fabrics as the major raw materials. This standard is not applicable to the products for the infants and young children within 24 months. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. Allowable degree of colour difference between stitch thread and shell fabric is light half grade and deep one grade (printing, stripe and plaid, colored woven raw materials shall be subject to the essential colour, excluding the ornamental thread). Button thread shall be matched with the color and luster of the button (excluding the special design). Brand thread shall be matched with the brand ground colour. 3.3.3.3 Button: proper thickness and color, free from defects, deformation, discolouring after washing and ironing. 3.3.4 Filler It shall meet the requirements of GB 18383. 3.4 Warp and weft direction Allowable inclination degrees of front fly of right warping (converse warping is not allowable), back fly and sleeve shall be in accordance with the requirements of Table 1.
