This document is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-202 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 26991-2011 Fuel cell electric vehicles - Maximum speed test method. In addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 26991-2011:
a) The application scope of the standard is modified (see Clause 1 hereof; Clause 1 of Edition 2011);
b) The term and definition of "rechargeable electrical energy storage system mode" are added (see 3.1 hereof);
c) The term and definition of "hybrid mode" are added (See 3.2 hereof);
d) The environmental conditions are modified (see 4.1 hereof; 5.4 of Edition 2011);
e) The test equipment is modified (see 4.2 hereof; Clause 4 of Edition 2011);
f) The vehicle conditions are modified (see 4.4 hereof; 5.2 of Edition 2011);
g) The road conditions are modified (see 4.5 hereof; 5.3 of Edition 2011);

Test methods for power performance of fuel cell electric vehicles
1 Scope
This document describes the test methods for the acceleration performance, maximum speed, and hill climbing ability of fuel cell electric vehicles.
This document is applicable to the power performance test of fuel cell electric vehicles of Categories M and N (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles") using compressed hydrogen.

driving mode in which a vehicle is powered only by a rechargeable electrical energy storage system (REESS)

hybrid mode
driving mode in which two or more energy sources or power sources provide energy or power at the same time

4.1 Environmental requirements
4.1.1 Atmospheric temperature and pressure
The atmospheric temperature is between 0°C and 40°C; the atmospheric pressure is between 91 kPa and 104 kPa.
