Foreword
This document is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 34215-2017 Cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strip (sheet) for electric vehicle driving motor. In addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 34215-2017:
a) The thickness of 0.25 mm is added (see Clause 1);
b) The symbols and abbreviated terms are modified (see Clause 4; Table 1 of Edition 2017);
c) Two types of products, i.e., high-magnetic-induction high-strength type and high- strength type, have been added (see 5.1);
d) The designation is modified (5.2; 4.2 of Edition 2017);
e) “Requirements for magnetic properties after ageing are agreed by the seller and the buyer” is added (see 8.1.1);
f) One ordinary grade of 25NV1300, three high magnetic induction grades of 20NVP1200, 20NVP1300, 25NVP1300, three high magnetic induction high strength grades of 25NVPS1300, 27NVPS1400 and 30NVPS1500, three high strength grades of 35NVS500, 35NV5550 and 35NVS600, and the magnetic properties and technical characteristics of product of new grades at room temperature are added (see Table 1);
g) Eight ordinary grades of 20WD1300, 27WD1500, 27WD1600, 27WD1700, 30WD1600, 30WD1700, 30WD1800 and 35WD1600 and seven high magnetic induction grades of 27WDG1500, 27WDG1600, 27WDG1700, 30WDG1600, 30WDG1700, 30WDG1800 and 35 WDG2000 are deleted.
h) The 20WD1500 is changed to the 20NV1300 with an agreed density of 7.65 kg/dm3 (see Table 1; Table 2 of Edition 2017);
i) The mechanical properties of the products of new grades at room temperature are added (see Table 2);
j) Delivery at insulating coating state and adhesion requirements are added (see 8.3.1 and 8.3.2);
k) The classification and codes of insulating coatings are added (see Table 3);
l) The product thickness deviation is modified (see Table 4; Table 3 of Edition 2017);
m) Requirement for shear edge deviation caused by internal stress is deleted (see 6.3.4 of Edition 2017);
n) The requirement that product inspection is divided into type inspection and quality consistency inspection is deleted (see 7.1.6 of Edition 2017):
o) The temperature range in Annex D "Measurement of magnetic properties by Epstein frame from 35 ℃ to 200 ℃" is modified (see Annex D; Annex B of Edition 2017).

1 Scope
This document specifies the symbols and codes, grades, order contents, general requirements, technical requirements, inspection and test, re-inspection and judgment rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strip (sheet) for electric vehicle driving motor.
This document is applicable to the manufacture of grain non-oriented electrical steel strip (sheet) for electric vehicle driving motor with nominal thicknesses of 0.20 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.27 mm, 0.30 mm, and 0.35 mm [hereinafter referred to as "strip (sheet)"].

This document replaces GB/T 34215-2017 Cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strip (sheet) for electric vehicle driving motor. In addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 34215-2017:

h) The 20WD1500 is changed to the 20NV1300 with an agreed density of 7.65 kg/dm3 (see Table 1; Table 2 of Edition 2017);

1 Scope
