Hydrogen - Part 1: Industrial hydrogen
1 Scope
This part specifies the requirements, test methods, packaging, marking, storage and transportation, and safety requirements for industrial hydrogen.
This part is applicable to cylindered, container-compartmented and pipeline-transported hydrogen produced by chemical pyrolysis, electrolysis, adsorption and membrane separation or with hydride. It mainly applies in petroleum, food, fine chemicals, glass and artificial gem manufacturing, metal smelting, cutting and welding industries.
Molecular formula: H2
Relative molecular mass: 2.01588 (as per the international relative atomic mass in 2001)
