Packaging - Basic tests for transport packages - Part 1: Identification of parts when testing
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 4857 specifies identification of parts of transport packages (hereinafter referred to as package) when testing.
This part is applicable to the identification of parts of packages, and may also serve as reference for the identification of parts of packaging containers.
2 Identification
2.1 Parallelepipedal packages
2.1.1 The package shall be placed in the position in which it is intended to be transported. If the transport position is not known, the package shall be placed in the most stable state. After placing, if there are joints perpendicular to the surface on the package, any joint of the package shall be placed vertically on the observer’s right; when the joint is parallel to the surface or there is no joint, any smaller end of the package shall face the observer. The identification is shown in Figure 1.
