Rolling Bearings-Pallet and Wooden Case for Transportation
1 Scope
This Standard specifies packing method of rolling bearing, technical requirements of pallet and wooden case used for transportation and marks for delivery, storage and transport.
This Standard is applicable to package and transportation of rolling bearings in outer diameter not larger than 440 mm.

Terms and definitions given in GB / T 3716 and GB / T 7285 are applicable to this Standard.
4 Pallet and Package Technology Requirements
4.1 Pallet
4.1.1 Pallets can be classified into box pallet, two-way panel with cover and four-way panel with cover. Structures of pallet and hort cover refer to Figure 1~4.
4.1.2 Dimensions and tolerances of pallet and hort cover:
4.1.2.1 Outside dimension and tolerance of flat pallet shall comply with those specified in GB/T 2934.
4.1.2.2 Basic dimension and tolerance of box pallet shall be determined by agreement of manufacturer and user.
4.1.2.3 Dimension and tolerance of hort cover shall be determined by agreement of manufacturer and user according to areas of object borne by pallet.
4.1.3 Material of pallet: it may be fabricated by timber, steel and plastic (with high density polyethylene and polypropylene as main raw material). Those specified in GB / T 153, GB / T 4817, GB / T 13237 and GB 11115 shall be met respectively.
4.1.4 The technical requirements of pallet shall be in accordance with those specified in GB / T 4995.
4.1.5 Test methods of pallet shall be in accordance with those specified in GB / T 4996.
4.2 Package
4.2.1 Gross weight of pallet package shall not exceed 1t.
4.2.2 For winding package bearings or bearings put into carton with the outer diameter not larger than 440 mm and carried by flat pallet, the inner package shall meet the requirements specified in GB / T 8597 - 2003.

4.1 Pallet
