This Standard is applicable to DC power supply equipments (hereinafter referred to as "product") in power system. The product is used as DC power supply equipment of control, signal, communication, protection and DC emergency lighting, power device of electric equipments, automatic safety supervisory control device and communication circuit at power plant transformer substation.
This standard is also applicable to DC power supply equipments in other industries, such as metallurgy industry and chemical industry, railway system.
But this standard is only applicable to newly-developed products.
