1 Scope
This standard specifies the structure form and dimension, technical requirements, materials, test methods and inspection rules as well as marking, coating, shipping and storage of the wafer type check valves.
This standard is applicable to wafer type check valves with the specific applicable parameters as follows:
Wafer type double disc swing check valves with the nominal pressure less than or equal to PN 420 and the nominal dimension of DN 50~DN 2100;
Long series of wafer type single disc swing check valves and wafer type butterfly check valves with the nominal pressure less than or equal to PN 420 and the nominal dimension of DN 50~DN 1200;
Short series of wafer type single disc swing check valves with the nominal pressure less than or equal to PN 260 and the nominal dimension of DN 50~DN 2100;
Wafer type lift check valves with the nominal pressure less than or equal to PN 160 and the nominal dimension of DN 15 ~DN 350.
Flanged double disc swing check valves may refer to this standard for implementation.
