1 Scope
This part of JB/T 8941 specifies the terminologies and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, keeping and warranty period of roots type blowers for general purpose (including single-stage, double-stage, package, positive pressure and negative pressure blowers).
This part is applicable to roots type blower for general purpose conveying air and neutral nontoxic, non-explosive gas (hereinafter referred to as blower). The inlet temperature of blower shall not be higher than 45℃, the content of solid particle in gas shall not be greater than 100mg/m3, the maximum dimension of particles shall not be greater than half of the minimum working clearance of each relative moving components in cylinder of blower.
