This Part specifies the basic test requirements and test types of the electric wire rope hoists for general purpose as well as the testing methods for the tests.
This Part is mainly applicable to the electric wire rope hoists for general purpose (hereinafter referred to as "electric hoists") and takes designed working grade of product as the base condition of test. The electric hoists for other special purposes may also be adopted by making reference to this Part.
