1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to making the building design of hotel building to meet the basic requirements in application, safety and hygiene.
1.0.2 This Code is applicable to the building design of new, rebuild and extended urban hotel in which at least 20 guest rooms are rented. The design of hotel building with special requirement may comply with this code by reference.
1.0.3 Based on the function, the hotel is classified as class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 from high class to low class acceding to quality standard, equipment, and facilities condition of building.
1.0.4 Besides this code, the design of hotel building shall comply with the current standard "Code for Design of Civil Buildings", and other current relative national standards and codes. For designing the hotels catering to overseas tourists, clear star goal shall be specified and the function of the hotel shall comply with the relevant standards.
