1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a viewing to implementing the relevant national laws, regulations and policies on energy conservation and environment protection, improving the thermal environment of residential buildings in hot summer and warm winter zone and improving the energy efficiency of cooling and heating.
1.0.2 This Standard is applicable to the energy efficiency design of constructed, extended and renovated residential building in hot summer and warm winter zone.
1.0.3 As for the building thermal engineering and cooling, heating and ventilation design for residential building in hot summer and warm winter zone, energy conservation measures must be taken so as to control the energy consumption of cooling and heating within a defined range under the premise of a comfortable indoor thermal environment.
1.0.4 The energy efficiency design of residential building in hot summer and warm winter zone shall not only comply with those specified in this Standard but also meet the requirements of the current relevant national compulsory standards.
