1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods of tire pressure monitoring system for commercial vehicle.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and test of the tire pressure monitoring system for Categories M2, M3 and N commercial vehicles.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 4094, GB/T 15089, GB 26149 and GB/T 1178.2 and the following apply.
3.1
tire pressure monitoring system
system installed on a vehicle that monitors tire pressure and temperature and sends out alarm signals when one or more tires are under inflation, tire high temperature, or malfunction alarms

3.2
under inflation
tire pressure in the tire, which is less than or equal to 75% of the recommended tire pressure of the vehicle
3.3
tire high temperature
temperature in the tire, which is greater than or equal to 90°C
3.4
fault alarm
alarm when tire pressure monitoring system fails
3.5
tire pressure monitoring module
component for measuring tire pressure, temperature, etc.
3.6
system host
module with data receiving and processing functions
4 Technical requirements
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 In the received signals, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) shall recognize and process only the signals emitted by the tire pressure monitoring module of the system.
4.1.2 The alarm marks of TPMS signal devices shall meet the following requirements:
a) Equipped with the alarm indicator lamp shown in Figure 1;
