1 Scope
This standard specifies the installation, maintenance and management requirements of communications system in metal and nonmetal underground mine.
This standard is not applicable to metal and nonmetal underground mine coexisting and associated with coal.

3 Terms and definitions
3.1
communication system
system that achieves communication through sending and receiving communication signals in various links such as production, scheduling, management, and rescue, including wire communication system and wireless communication system
3.2
wire communication system
communication system for information exchange through cables
3.3
wireless communication system
communication system that interacts information through free space
4 Construction requirements
4.1 Wire communication system shall be built and improved in metal and non-metal underground mines according to the actual needs of safety and risk avoidance; it should build a wireless communication system as a supplement to the wire communication system.
4.2 The communications system shall be designed and constructed according to the design requirements. It is encouraged to conduct overall design and construction of communications system, monitoring and supervision system and personnel positioning system.
4.3 The wire communication system shall have the following functions:
——Two-way voice and non-blocking communication between terminal equipment and control center;
——Group call, general call, selective call, forced demolition, forced insertion, emergency call and monitoring functions initiated by the control center;
——Emergency call function initiated by terminal equipment to control center;
——Be able to display the location of the terminal device initiating communication;
——Be able to store backup communication history records and query them;
——Recording function started automatically or manually;
——Function of communication between terminal devices.
