本标准规定了工作场所职业病危害因素检测工作的基本要求、工作程序和报告编写格式等。
本标准适用于职业卫生技术服务机构，对存在职业病危害的工作场所开展职业病危害因素的检测工作。用人单位日常的职业病危害因素监测可参照本标准执行。
本标准不适用于放射性物品的检测。
