本标准规定了螺旋杂质分离器的术语和定义、产品型号命名、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于运动黏度不大于40mm2/s的液体介质系统中铜合金制、碳钢、不锈钢制杂质分离器。杂质分离器的参数范围为：
a)公称通径不大于DN750，额定温度不大于180，公称压力PN不大于2.5MPa的法兰连接和对焊连接杂质分离器。
b)公称通径不大于DN50，额定温度不大于180，公称压力PN不大于2.5MPa的螺纹连接杂质分离器。
