1.0.1 This Specification is formulated with a view to making the water supply and drainage design of swimming pools and amusement pools meet the safety and hygiene requirements, and also realizing the purpose of advanced technology, economy and rationality, water conservation and convenient management.
1.0.2 This Specification is applicable to the water supply and drainage design of man-built constructed, extended or renovated swimming pools and amusement pools.
During the design of hot-spring swimming pools and medical swimming pools, the relevant requirements shall also be complied.
1.0.3 During the design of swimming pools and amusement pools, close cooperation with the process design and amusement facilities specialized agencies is required to ensure the design being reasonable and meeting the relevant requirements for safety, health and application, etc..
1.0.4 Water supply and drainage design of the swimming pools and amusement pools shall meet not only the requirements stipulated in this Specification, but also those in the current relevant standards of the Nation.
1.0.5 The equipment and attachments/accessories, pipes and pipe fittings, apparatus, instruments and chemicals, etc. selected for the engineering design of swimming pools and amusement pools shall meet the quality requirements specified in the current relevant standards of the Nation.
