1.0.1 This Specification is formulated to ensure the sprayed concrete technology (dry-spraying technology, the same below) is correctly used in the design and construction for strengthening and restoration of concrete structure and masonry structure and make the structural strengthening engineering advanced in technology, feasible in economy and guaranteed in quality.
1.0.2 This Specification is applicable to the engineering design and construction for strengthening and restoration of the concrete structure and masonry structure of buildings by way of sprayed concrete technology.
This Specification may also be referred to properly in the structural strengthening and restoration of concrete structures and masonry structures for railway engineering, highway engineering and hydraulic & hydroelectric engineering by way of sprayed concrete technology.
1.0.3 Besides this Specification, mandatory provisions in the current relevant national standards shall also be followed in the strengthening and restoration for concrete structure and masonry structure of buildings by way of sprayed concrete technology.
Besides this Specification, provisions in the current national special standards shall also be followed in the strengthening and restoration for concrete structure and masonry structure in special environment (such as corrosion and high temperature etc.) by way of sprayed concrete technology.
