1.0.1 The Specification is formulated with a view to guaranteeing safety, reliability, state-of-art technology and economic feasibility of long distance water transmission pipeline (canal) engineering in design, construction and operation quality.
1.0.2 The Specification is applicable to the design and operation management of raw and clean water transmission pipelines for urban area and industrial & mining enterprises.
1.0.3 The design of long distance water transmission pipeline shall meet the following requirements:
1 It shall conform to general and regional planning of town construction;
2 The design scheme shall be optimized so as to guarantee the economic feasibility of water transmission technology and design parameters;
