1.0.1 This regulation is specially formulated to make the design, installation and acceptance of electrical installations supplied with low voltage comply with national and local technical and economic policy, reach advanced technology, economy and rationality, personal safety, reliable power distribution and convenient installation and maintenance.
1.0.2 This regulation is applicable to the electrical installations supplied by low-voltage public grid of Shanghai. Electrical installations supplied with high voltage may implement by reference.
1.0.3 The equipments and materials adopted for electric installations shall meet the relevant national, Shanghai or enterprise standards imported equipments and materials shall meet the IEC standards and the requirements of relevant standards of China.
1.0.4 In addition to the requirements of this Regulation, electrical installations supplied with low voltage shall also meet the requirements of national and local current relevant standards and codes.
