1.0.1 To regulate the design, installation and acceptance of high-voltage electrical installations, taking the local (Shanghai) conditions into consideration, conforming to the relevant technical and economic policies, standards and regulations of the nation, intending the high-voltage electrical installations to meet the requirements of safety and reliability, technical advancement and economic feasibility, this code is hereby established.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the high-voltage electrical installations with the Shanghai municipal power-obtaining voltage grade of 10KV, 35KV and 110KV.
1.0.3 As For high-voltage electrical installations, the design scheme and electrical apparatus shall be established and selected according to the technical conditions, ambient conditions and load characteristics of power supply, etc. In regard to new technologies, equipments and materials, they shall be studied and adopted positively.
1.0.4 The equipments and materials adopted by electrical installations shall meet the relevant national, provincial and professional standards; imported equipments and materials shall meet the IEC standards and requirements of relevant Chinese standards.
1.0.5 The design, installation and acceptance of consumer's high-voltage electric installations shall comply with not only the requirements in this code but also the national and local standing regulations.
