3 General Provisions
3.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to implementing the national technical and economic policies for the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning of power house of hydropower station, living up to economy/rationality and state-of-the-art technologies, and meeting the requirements of industrial sanitation and environmental protection so as to provide necessary conditions for the electromechanical equipment safe operation, power house operating environment improvement and productivity improvement.
3.0.2 The design for heating, ventilation and air conditioning of power house of hydropower station shall be in accordance with the characteristics of the hydropower station, in conjunction with the natural conditions and in rational utilization of the natural resources (such as generating set's residual heat, reservoir water, downstream tailrace and corridor wind). The equipments and materials shall be adopted in line with local conditions and saving investment. In addition, with the scientific/technical development and the technical progress, new energy-saving and reliable equipments and materials also shall be adopted through economic and technical comparison.
3.0.3 As for the design for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems of main/auxiliary power houses of hydropower station, not only the terminal construction rationality shall be met, but the requirements for heating, ventilation and air conditioning at the initial construction or stage construction also shall be taken into account.
