1 Scope
This standard specifies basic requirements of inspection and instrumentation and control, basic requirements for instrumentation and control of equipments provided by complete set and requirements for experiment and acceptance.
This standard is applicable to pulverized coal fired boilers, whose rated evaporation is larger than or equal to 1000t/h and is a reference for pulverized coal fired boilers of other rated evaporations.
2 Normative References
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding corrigenda), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this standard are encouraged to study whether the latest edition of these documents is applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document is applicable to this standard.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Furnace safeguards supervisory system (FSSS)
When the boiler furnace is extinguished, protect the furnace from explosion (outside explosion and inside explosion) by using the automatic system for monitoring and control. FSSS includes burner control system (BCS is short for burner control system) and furnace safety system (FSS is short for furnace safety system).
3.2
Burner control system (BCS)
Automatic input and cut-off control system in the time of combustion regime monitoring of oil and coal burner and when the safety condition is met
3.3
Furnace safety system (FSS)
If there is any condition that endanger boiler equipments, automatically stopping input of all the fuels and shut down the operating protection system of the boiler
3.4
Principle of independence
If sense printers use redundant configuration, each redundant signal shall be independent starting from the sampling point.
