本标准规定了集合式高压并联电容器的定义、使用条件、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存以及安全要求。
本标准适用于并联接人高压交流电力系统中，用以改善电压质量、提高功率因数的集合式高压井联电容器(以下简称集合式电容器)。
本标准不适用于集装式高压自愈式并联电容器。
