This standard specifies the principles and methods for grade division, responsibilities and examination for technology qualification of personnel who engage in ray (RT), ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), penetration (PT) and eddy current (ET) these five kinds of nondestructive testing methods.
This standard is applicable to technology qualification examination and obtaining corresponding qualification certificates for non-destructive testing personnel who are engaged in installation, maintenance, repair, inspection, supervision and inspection of power equipments.
Qualification grades of the non-destructive testing personnel are classified into grade I (primary), grade II (intermediate) and grade III (advanced).
