1 Scope
This Standard specifies the classification criteria of the safety classification of structures, systems and components, seismic classification and quality assurance classification, and recommends the standard and specification adopted for design.
This Standard is applicable to facility for wet storage of spent nuclear fuel, head end facility, chemical separation facility, trail end facility, radioactive waste processing facility and auxiliary facilities.

3 Terminologies
For the purpose of this Standard, the following terminologies and definitions apply.
3.1 Chemical equipment
Such items as all kinds of extraction equipment, reactors, evaporators, containers, storage tanks, pumps, valves, piping and pipeline accessories which used for containing process medium in process system or safety system of reprocessing plant.
3.2 Safe parking condition
The parking condition caused by process demand or accident in reprocessing plant, where requires to guarantee the monitoring capability of important process parameter, the normal operation of items implementing safety function and the effective containment of radioactive materials.
