1 Scope
This document specifies a method for determining the content of polyethylene fibers in two-component mixtures after removal of non-fibrous substances using the paraffin oil method.
This document applies to polyethylene fiber and animal hair fiber (sheep wool, cashmere, alpaca wool and mohair), cellulose fiber (cotton, linen, ramie, viscose fiber, modal fiber, Lyser fiber and copper ammonia fiber) silk (mulberry silk, sericea silk) and synthetic fibers (polyester fiber, polyamide fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, aromatic polyamide fiber and polypropylene fiber) of the two-component mixture.
2 Normative reference documents
The content of the following documents through the normative references in the text and the composition of the essential provisions of the benzene document. Among them, note the date of the reference document, only the date corresponds to the version applicable to this document; do not note the date of the reference document, its latest version (including all the revision of the single) applicable to this document.
GB/T 2910.1 Textiles quantification sub-part 1: general rules for testing
3 Terminology and definitions
There are no terms and definitions that need to be defined in this document.
4 Principle
Use paraffin oil solution to dissolve polyethylene fibers from a known dry mass of the mixture to remove, collect the residue, wash, dry. Weighing; calculate the corrected mass as a percentage of the dried mass of the mixture. The percentage mass of polyethylene fiber is derived from the difference.
5 Reagents
5.1 Use GB/T 2910.1 and the reagents specified in 5.2-5.5 of this document. 5.2 Paraffin oil: analytical purity, boiling point 600 ℃ ~ 700 ℃.
5.3 trichloromethane: analytical purity.
Warning: trichloromethane is harmful to humans, the use of perfect protection measures should be taken.
5.4 Paraffin oil solution A: add 100 mL of trichloromethane (5.3) to 900 mL of paraffin oil (5.2) and mix well, the mixed solution is stored in a sealed container away from light and used within 3 days.
Note: The boiling temperature of the solution is about 121 ℃.
6 Equipment
6.1 Use GB/T 2910.1 and the equipment specified in this document 6.2 ~ 6.5.
6.2 flat-bottomed flask: volume of 250 mI, with condensing device.
6.3 heating device: heating plate or heating jacket, at least to 500 ℃.
6.4 with a plug triangular flask: volume of 200 mL.
6.5 mechanical oscillator: reciprocating, the rate of at least 60 times / min.
7 test procedure
7.1 in accordance with the general procedures specified in GB/T 2910.1, and then according to 7.2 ~ 7.8 steps to operate.
7.2 the prepared specimen into a flat-bottomed flask (6.2), for polyethylene fiber and polypropylene fiber mixed specimens, add 160 mL per gram of specimen. paraffin oil solution A (5.4), for polyethylene fiber and other fiber mixed specimens, add 160 mL of paraffin oil solution B (5.5) per gram of specimen, shake the flask, fully wet the specimen.
7.3 Place the flat-bottomed flask prepared in 7.2 onto the heating device (6.3), connect the non-condensing device, and keep the heating temperature at about 500 ℃ to heat the solution to boiling, and then adjust the heating temperature to about 400 ℃ to keep the solution boiling for 40 min.
7.4 Immediately pour the solution into the sand core, and make sure that all the residue in the flask is transferred to the sand core, and pump the liquid.
7.5 Transfer the residue in the core into a stoppered triangular flask (6.4) with 50 mL of trichloromethane (5.3) and shake for 15 min at room temperature on a mechanical shaker (6.5).
7.6 Filter the solution with the same core and repeat the operation of 5 again.
7.7 With the same sand core ground w filter solution, wash the residue with hot water at 70 ℃, each wash first by gravity drainage, and then suction drainage. 7.8 The sand core ground exhaust and residue drying, cooling, weighing.
8 Results of the calculation and expression
Calculation of the results and expressed in accordance with the provisions of GB/T2910.1.
9 Precision
For a homogeneous mixture of textile materials, at a confidence level of 95%, the confidence limit of the test results of this method does not exceed 1%.
